IMCA NSW inaugural members

IMCA NSW Chapter

The NSW Branch of the IMCA members held their inaugural meeting on the 14th April 2007 for the purpose of better serving IMCA members situated in NSW in particular NSW Regional areas that were not involved in IMCA activities and events due to geographic distances.

The NSW Branch aims to involve our NSW members in its Annual January IMCA (NSW) Goulburn Rally with other rides piggybacking on other club invitation runs for example but not limited to; the Parkes, Goulburn Classic Riders, Singleton, Berry Kick Start, Bathurst VMCC rallies and other popular events held within NSW. While the other club invitation runs are not exclusively for Indian Motorcycles, IMCA (NSW Branch) members endeavour to meet, stay at the same motels, and have a meal together to foster camaraderie within the IMCA while attending these events.

The IMCA (NSW Branch) members are serviced with communications and mailed our IMCA newsletter (Indian News) from our secretary in Melbourne; the NSW Branch members have a delegate on the IMCA committee for the purpose of inclusiveness in all national club matters.

Anyone may join the IMCA if you have an interest in vintage Indian Motorcycles. The club promotes club events, rides, displays and the restoration and preservation of Indian Motocycles.

If you would like more local NSW information please email the NSW Branch delegate.

IMCA Qld Chapter

With Queensland being over 1500 km away from Victoria, it was decided to form a Queensland Branch for the IMCA, as like the NSW Branch, some members were not involved with various events due to distance.

In the past QLD members have had some local rides, but are now looking forward to finding more Queenslanders, who have a passion for Indians pre 1953, to take part in future events. The QLD Branch has a goal to host not only smaller runs but a rally event every year, so the southern branch members can attend and be part of the IMCA.

As the Qld Branch was only recently formed, it is yet to form a committee and decide on meeting dates and venues, but will have a delegate on the IMCA Committee. Most communications however will still come from the IMCA and the IMCA newsletter.

If you would like more local QLD information please email the QLD Branch delegate.
